Timber treatment is a process whereby the timber is sealed to ensure the protection and durability of the timber used. We stock the following recommended timber treatment products dependent on your project needs:
Waksol – a solvent and wax-based timber sealer with excellent water repelling properties, and in some applications, it can also act as a mould release agent on timber.
Timberlife – ideal for outdoor timber finishes, treatment and timber protection. Included in the Timberlife range are cleaning agents, brush-on biocides, water repellent finishes, wood stains and decorative coatings offering a wide range of solutions to your timber treatment needs.
Silkwood & CCA – Enhance and Preserve Your Timber
Silkwood – a high-quality oil that can be used as both a finish and maintenance product as it brings out the inherent character of the timber, helping to preserve the timber, whilst at the same time adding an attractive sheen or gloss to the surface making it more aesthetically pleasing.
Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA) Treatment – a timber preservative applied by vacuum-pressure impregnation and used to make the timber resistant to attack by termites and fungi that could cause decay.
